I wasn’t quite as strict on myself with this one and that’s ok. There was one day that I did have some ice cream. But, in my defense, it would have been rude and a little weird if I declined. The main thing is that I stopped the bored,-I-just-want-one-bite-end-up-eating-half the-bag-of-candy eating.
I found this on pinterest and had high hopes of it working. I followed the directions and I should have had tulips within 6 weeks from planting.
I started this project on October 6th and here we are, almost April (I marked this off the list on March 27th) and no tulips. I decided it was time to put them out of their misery and put this little project behind me.
I’m marking this off my list because it was a really good attempt. A failed attempt, but good. I love tulips and would like to grow some, but I might just have to wait till the fall and grow them the correct way-in the ground.
I was able to mark this off my list while I was visiting the Omaha Zoo. It was in a small little building and it was incredibly hot. My lens fogged up so bad that I couldn’t get a photo, but I was able to get a few with my camera on my phone.
It was so cool to have all kinds of butterflies flying around you with all types of colors. It was a little piece of magic.
